Only 80 days to go!!!!
Well, Chloe is doing wonderfully! She continues to move constantly, keeping me entertained by her nudges and somersaults. My alarm is set for 10 minutes from now (7:30) but since she woke me up with all her movement at 6, I'm sitting in bed, ready for the day to start. :)
Chloe is now about 14 inches long and weighs just over 2lbs. We went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago and were told that Chloe is now "viable"...meaning her lungs are developed enough that she could survive (with tons of medical care) outside of the womb. That brings some relief, actually!
So, I've discovered that I can NOT let myself get dehydrated. About 2-3 weeks ago I got dehydrated and ended up calling the doctor (a little freaked out) because I started have really hard cramps every 10-15 minutes. She told me to lay down and relax and drink lots of water and it should go away...it did. And it hasn't happened since. But it was a very unpleasant experience! David and I are going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas today with my mom and sisters...I have to remember to drink plenty of water!!
According to my pregnancy journal, Chloe's eyes should be about done forming and the eyelids are beginning to unfuse. :) I'm so excited to see her beautiful eyes for the first time!! I wonder what color they will be?!?! I'm so curious as to what she will look like! I just can't wait for her to get here! Only 12 more weeks!!!
I have done quite a bit of baby registering the past couple of weeks. I guess I'm not done yet but I've been told I need to post my registries on here so all of you lovely people can take a look. Well, I'm registered at several places: Target, Walmart, Babies-R-Us, Kohls... But I found a website that allows me to place EVERYTHING I register from ALL the stores at one place so you can see it all without having to look a million different places. The website is:

Or just go to myregistry.com and search for "Becca Schultz". :)
Yesterday I went to the Seton lab here in Kyle and got blood drawn to test for gestational diabetes (which I'm pretty sure I don't have). I had to drink a little bottle of very sugary water. It wasn't that bad, really. It tasted like flat sprite, but a little sweeter. Unfortunately I wasn't very bright and I drank the stuff at 12:45pm. I had to wait an hour before coming back to get blood drawn and I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything in between times. I hadn't eaten lunch yet so it made me a little sick to my stomach. But a delicious Chick-fil-a sandwich after the blood-drawing made everything all better! :) I'm not sure why they had to take so much blood, though. I'm pretty sure a little prick of my finger would have supplied enough blood to test my blood glucose levels. But they had to take THREE VILES!!! My stomach was so wobbly that I couldn't watch them draw it all this time...
My next doctor's appointment is tomorrow and then we have a sonogram Friday morning. At our last sonogram (at 20 weeks) the doctor said that the baby's placenta was a little too low, too close to my cervix. He said this was "fairly common" in pregnancies at that stage and that the placenta should move upwards as my pregnancy progressed. That's what they are checking for on Friday. If it doesn't move up, and it stays too close to the cervix, a C-section may be required to avoid tons of bleeding during birth. I'm sure it will move up...I'd really prefer not to have a C-section.
