You are getting so big! You are already potty-training! At 19 months! I couldn't be more excited or proud of you. :-) Your vocabulary is growing quickly as well. You can say simple things like "mama," "dada," "baby," "more," "please," to harder words like "dark," "rain," "water," "play," and even short phrases such as "come on," "thank you," "more please," "mama play," "oh no!," and MANY, many others! It's great that we can communicate so well. We rarely can't understand you - thus, you are rarely frustrated with us (in that regard). You have hit your "terrible twos" early, however, and get pretty upset when you don't get your way. But, it has been a great way for all of us to learn discipline and patience and grace and mercy. :-) You also love swimming - which has been great this summer! You love babies more than anything right now. Any and every baby you see becomes yours and you carry them around (sometimes 3 at a time) and feed them, burp them, and change their diapers. It's quite adorable! You currently weigh 25lbs 3oz and are very tall and skinny. You are one of God's most beautiful creations and I thank God every day for you.
You have finally rolled over for the first time - although it hasn't become any habit of yours since then. You also have found your voice over the past month and are constantly trying to communicate with us all. God is also helping me grow by blessing me with two children of very different personalities (at least, as far as I can tell right now). Chloe is currently dealing with up and down emotions, while you are so laid back and easy going. Chloe loves her little sister and is always trying to help with you. Occasionally, she will accidentally step on your hand or use you as a lever to pull herself up. But you never seem to mind. When she plays with you, you watch her with constant intrigue and awe. And your smile is so big when she (or anyone) pays special attention to you! You are very helpful to Mommy by frequently sitting by and letting me get things done around the house or with Chloe. Whenever you are upset, it is for one of three reasons: hungry, dirty, or tired. Your consistency makes it so much easier for me to keep you happy. :-)
A few weekends ago, we spent half a day out on Canyon Lake with Pappa, Memaw, Aunt Kassi, Tante, and Aunt Maddy. Cheyenne very much disliked the life jacket! But eventually she fell asleep on the boat and was fine. Chloe loved all of it: the boat ride, the water, and tubing. Yes, tubing. She got to get pulled around behind the boat, too! We all had a great time! Cheyenne really liked getting in the water as well - once the life jacket was taken off.
Thank you, Lord, for such a wonderful family!
